Overview
Grand Muscovado Milling Corporation (GMMC) is a family-owned company and one of the country’s leading suppliers of export-quality, raw brown sugar, popularly known as muscovado. Their muscovado product is farmed in the Negros Oriental part of the Negros Island, which is arguably the region that produces the best sugar canes in the Philippines.
Grand Muscovado, their flagship brand, is produced with very minimal processing without the use of chemicals and pesticides. They also own the farm from which the sugarcane is grown and is within the same vicinity of their sugar mill. This allows them to consistently stay within 16 hours from cutting time until milling ensuring that the sugar canes they use are always fresh.
The company has been distributing its muscovado products locally since 2011. After 5 years in the market, they are ready to expand on a global scale.
